Can I require a patch test before a laser treatment booking?
You can book patch tests as a separate service. Create a "Patch test" service with its own consultation form, and ask clients to book it before their first full treatment session. The booking system does not block a treatment booking if no patch test is on record, so check this before the appointment.
Can I screen for photosensitising medications?
Yes. Build a form with a specific medications section asking about antibiotics, retinoids, isotretinoin, antihistamines, and other photosensitisers, along with questions about recent sun exposure and tanning.
Can I take payment for a course of laser sessions?
You can take a deposit for each session at booking via Stripe, and the deposit is deducted at checkout. You can book the whole course as a recurring series in one step. Prepaid multi-session packages are not currently supported — each session is invoiced individually.
Is consent stored for each treatment?
Yes. Consent checkbox responses are stored with a timestamp against the patient record every time a consultation form is completed. You can view the full consent history for any client.
